Description:

Red Hat is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on the next generation of Windows guest operating system solutions for OpenShift Virtualization. The role involves designing and implementing features, troubleshooting complex issues, contributing to the software development lifecycle, and collaborating with global engineering teams and open-source communities.

Key Technical Skills:

Windows Operating System, MS SQL, Active Directory, PowerShell, WinRM, Root Cause Analysis, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, Golang, Python, QEMU, KVM, VMware, OpenStack, LibVirt

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT professional (Architect, Administrator, or Developer).
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL, Active Directory, and Windows applications.
• Experience using PowerShell and WinRM.
• Strong debugging and Root Cause Analysis skills for Windows-related issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to transition into the Linux/Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Experience with Linux/Windows administration, Kubernetes/OpenShift, virtualization technologies, or Golang/Python is an added advantage.
